The small all-rounder handset

The Snom M70 DECT handset is the perfect office all-rounder for unlimited mobility in the workplace. The handset is not only extremely light and compact, it is also particularly robust thanks to its high quality and the outer protective cover. This means that the M70 is not only forgiving of accidental drops, but is also protected according to MIL-STD-810g and can easily withstand drops from up to 2 meters. This makes the Snom M70 the perfect companion in the office, in a warehouse or outdoors.

In addition to the excellent build quality, the modern DECT handset also features a high-resolution LCD color screen and enables wireless telephony in best HD audio quality and high range. In addition, all popular Bluetooth headsets can be paired with the M70 to further enhance phone convenience.

In addition to the pure telephony functions, the Snom M70 also offers a freely programmable alarm button on the top of the device. This button can be used to call for help in an emergency, open doors and much more. (Learn more about alarm functions here)

Technical features

Alarm function

This device has an option to signal an alarm. This can be physical switches and similar, but also sensors.

Backlit keypad

This device has backlit keys, which is of course very useful especially in low-light conditions.

Bluetooth

This device has Bluetooth headset support.

DECT

This device communicates using the radio standard for telecommunications called DECT (Digital Enhanced Cordless Telecommunications).

Belt clip

This DECT handset comes with a belt clip.

Headset connectable

This device has a port and possible software support that allows a headset to be connected.

OTA Updates

This device is able to receive updates via radio, i.e. OTA (over-the-air). As a rule, the DECT handsets must be in their charging cradle for this.

Vibration alarm

This handset has a vibration function, so a call can be indicated even without a ringtone.

With the Snom M9B Beacon Gateways we offer an ideal solution for professional "location and asset tracking" as well as alarm systems into a into a Snom DECT multi-cell system of the M-series. The Snom M9B Beacon Gateway works as a Bluetooth satellite, which connects via a DECT data connection to a Snom M900 DECT base station. The 4 antennas integrated in the Snom M9B enable thanks to beamforming in the range of 1-1.5 metres, in order to protect objects from theft, for example. For the individual requirements of tracking (alarm, monitoring, signalling), we work with specialised specialised third-party providers.

You may not be able to update your Snom device manually, but only via the web interface of your PBX.
